ACDelco Makes E-Catalogue Easy

ACDelco is already hailing its E-Catalogue that forms an integral part of the UK and European aftermarket operation’s new website one of the industry’s best when it

comes to ease of use and the speed with which information can be retrieved.

“The brief behind its creation and delivery was for it to be made as easy as possible to use, whilst giving customers immediate access to logically presented and relevant information, and for me we have achieved this,” states Lee Quinney the head of ACDelco in the UK and Europe.  But despite self-praise understandably emanating from ACDelco themselves, Quinney claims the site’s capability of providing in the blink of an eye access to a host of information has already attracted praise from across ACDelco’s customer base.

As Quinney adds: “Whilst to say we have been inundated with the number of customers who have made very favourable comments would be an exaggeration,

the feedback that we have had has made the investment extremely worthwhile. It appears we have once again delivered a tool that by its design is making it easier for people to do business with ACDelco.”

So what does the E-catalogue represent and what drives its simplicity? Accessible at

www.acdelco.eu.com, and playing on ACDelco’s latest global promotional theme –

‘Part Of Something Bigger’ – it provides full component details across each of

ACDelco’s core product areas covering brakes, clutch, wipers, spark plugs,

batteries, filters and fluids. Entering the E-catalogue via the home page navigation

bar, site visitors can then access one of three sections: the application guide,

buyers’ guide and cross reference guide. After clicking on the relevant product

area to the left of the screen, three simple clicks in either section is all that it

takes to access full part information.

A valuable search facility is also included.

Not surprisingly, the revamped ACDelco site is also home to a wealth of product

information relating to ACDelco’s eight core product ranges. An insight into

ACDelco’s history and heritage serves to provide added interest, as does an easily

accessible news section.
